I'm Yassin, a platform engineer and cloud architect with over six years of experience in IT and Cloud Engineering, and the past three years focused on building production grade cloud platforms, data systems, and applied AI products.

I began in hands on IT support and infrastructure operations, then progressively specialised in Azure and AWS, Kubernetes platform engineering, infrastructure as code, governance, MLOps, and API driven systems. I hold the Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification, Azure Administrator Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, multiple Microsoft 365 certifications, and CompTIA Network+. Today I design and build end to end systems spanning infrastructure, APIs, data pipelines, analytics, compliance, and applied AI. A core principle in my work is deterministic first system design, where systems are correct, traceable, and governed by default, and AI is layered as an assistive capability rather than a decision engine.

This approach underpins projects such as my compliance engine built from legislation.gov.uk data, analytics and ML reporting pipelines, location intelligence platforms, AWS MLOps deployments, and asset management systems. Alongside this profile, I include live demo videos showcasing production systems I've built, including an AWS MLOps platform, executive analytics and ML reporting pipelines, a UK legislation driven compliance engine, an asset management platform, and a location intelligence product. These demonstrate not only technical depth, but my ability to design complete, deployable systems and turn complex requirements into working products. Compliance Engine (Legislation to Cloud Constraints)

  • Built a deterministic legislative to infrastructure compliance pipeline turning UK law into auditable cloud requirements
  • Ingested structured XML directly from legislation.gov.uk preserving hierarchy, versioning, and jurisdiction
  • Automated ingestion and preparation using n8n production workflows
  • Normalised legislation into machine safe JSON with explicit parent child relationships and legal scope preservation
  • Separated raw law text from compliance meaning to ensure zero early interpretation
  • Extracted obligations at paragraph level with actor, action, object, and conditions linked to exact legal text
  • Used AI only for bounded enrichment, never for decision making or requirement invention
  • Promoted obligations to rulings conservatively using high confidence deterministic rules
  • Mapped rulings to canonical cloud aware enforcement constraints

Business Location Intelligence Platform

  • End to end location evaluation product for first store founders assessing commercial viability before leasing
  • Combines multiple external data sources into a single ranked decision model
  • Ingests Google Places data to identify competitors with ratings, reviews, price levels, and spatial density
  • Uses Google demand signals to estimate peak times, weekday vs weekend activity, and relative demand strength
  • Integrates Rightmove commercial listings for pricing, availability, and affordability context
  • Generates candidate locations from OpenStreetMap using geospatial IDs as stable anchors
  • Performs distance based spatial analysis including proximity, clustering density, and nearest neighbour effects
  • Scores locations using a multi factor ranking model across competition, demand, density, feasibility, and confidence
  • Produces explainable rankings describing why locations score well or poorly
  • Exposes a client facing REST API to trigger runs and retrieve ranked locations and breakdowns
  • Includes an interactive map visualisation layer for spatial exploration
